St. Louis, MO. - ABA University-St. Louis Campus announced today that it will begin accepting applications for its 12-week sessions. The session will begin Monday June 5, 2006 and conclude Friday August 25, 2006. Session are held (2) hour per day Monday through Friday from 9am to 10am. Applications will only be accepted from May 1, 2006 to May 31, 2006.
The ABA University is designed to teach professional basketball both on and off the court. The Professional Basketball Player 101: curriculum is recommended for individuals that have played organized basketball in high school or college and needs additional training and preparation to compete on a professional level.
The 12-week session will instruct players in the areas of basketball training & weight lifting, how to increase players market value, training for television and radio interviews, public appearances, community work, as well as after-career management possibilities. Each class will be taught by instructors with years of experience in their profession. ABA University instructors will critique players abilities one-on-one and provide them with an overall assessment. Players will be require to participate in exhibition games where pro scouts can meet & recruit players.
Enrollment into the ABA University program will begin May 1, 2006 with May 30, 2006, as the last date to enroll. No walk-ups will be accepted. The ABA University "tuition" is only $360.00.
