Thursday, January 12, 2006 - A few things I've learned along the way.
Hey folks,
My name is Andy Zeus Anderson, and while I generally stick to network marketing, and internet sales. My dad has asked me to help him set up his blog and get some content into these pages. Content being the very thing the search engines look for, the one thing that sets any webpage, or blog apart from the masses. Content has to be rich, related, and accurate to maintain high rankings and get visitors, and as such, if I make any error in my post, help my dad out and correct me in the comments section.
Now, what I know about credit, is just a few simple rules must be applied, or this beast will eat you alive. There are a few rules to follow when picking your card, and managing your account, see them below.
The right card tips.
1. Forget the huge credit line and go for the low interest rate.
2. Make not of all annual fees and periodic charges.
3. Budget your spending, and pay off your balance monthly to avoid high interest rates.
4. Use a credit monitor to keep track of your habbits and score.
5. At least once a year, check with several cards to see if you can lower your interest by
transfering your balance to a new provider.
6. Never send credit info over a non secure link. Look for sites that are SSL encrypted, or use
a well known 3rd party proccesor such as PayPal or Storm Pay.
7. If you can avoid using the card, don't use the card.
Credit cards come in handy for emergencies, the also help you access a lot of online deals you can only get on the web. The help you track your finances, and if you keep you total balance paid in full each month, they will be there when you need them. As for the low balance cards i mentioned before, the credit line grows as your score improves, so keep your cards up to date, pay them off by their due dates, and never spend what you don't have.
