The Season’s True Meaning

Everyone's rushing madly around,
Hustling, bustling, buying gifts,

Soon the snow will cover the ground,
Don't know what to do with long lists

Have we lost sight of the true meaning
Of what this season was started for?

Is Jesus still the reason and  giving
Or just a mad rush for bargains in stores,

As you spend time with your loved ones
Or at least share your love with them

Remember the Savior born long ago
In a manger barren and dim

Came down from His place in Heaven
Surely each day we can honor Him
